This is our official first newsletter. I want to dicuss protecting your computer
while surfing the net or doing paid to read sites. I am going to do several emails
in regards to this since it is such a big topic. This week i would like to discuss
Spy-Ware Protection with you.

SPYWARE PROTECTION
There are several things you can do to protect your computer.
#1 If you are using Windows - Make Sure to do regular Security Updates.
This is a simple procedure and if you are running XP you can set your computer
for automatic updates. Keep your updates current!
Why Is Using Anti Spyware Important?
Spyware is a term used for software that preforms certain actions. These actions
include changing settings in your computer, collecting your personal info, and
changing things without your consent. Spyware on your computer can cause it
to run extremely slow, cause changes that are unwanted and can be extremel
difficult to remove.
Anti-Spyware software can help protect your computer from unwanted problems
by detecting and removing known spyware. You can schedule it to scan your
computer at times which work for you.

Spybot Search & Destroy (S&D)

Both of these are FREE! Use both to protect your computer. Run Ad-Aware
first then run Spybot S+D following the scan of Ad-Aware. Run these weekly
if not more frequently to protect your system from spyware. These also scan
and protect your system from other unscruplous bugs you can pick up which surfing.
